The 655 nm absorption band is useful for quantitating APC: T1 mg/ml of
APC has an OD at 655nm of 5.9. A 655/620 ratio >1.4 indicates adequate
removal of phycocyanin; a 655/280 ratio > 4 indicates adequate removal
of all other proteins.
